Way back in 2008, I opened my first Etsy shop. I have been a part of the Etsy community off and on since then. I have left for several reasons: sick of paying fees and not making money was always the biggest reason. Well, went back to Etsy back in January of 2017. I have regretted it ever since. Not only are there the same old issues but now, one has to deal with being reported to Etsy for the littlest issues and risk being closed down. The big companies like Disney are sweeping the shops and if you have anything in your shop with the word Disney or any word Disney related, they will have you shut down.

Now, on to the buyers and sellers. There is sooooo much drama on the facebook groups. All I ever see is complaining. People putting each other down. On Etsy, people are giving bad reports for almost no reason. They are trying to get refunds for items purchased months ago so, then complain to Etsy and Paypal when a seller is following their own policies.

Today, I discovered Crafty Bids. CraftyBids is a marketplace dedicated to handmade and vintage goods! Guests can browse through sellers products or open up their very own shop and enjoy exclusive benefits such as free listings, and auction style pricing options.
